Proms & Prosecco in the Park is family friendly live music event, with plenty to entertain the children.

We know that the thought of attending a music event is not always top of a child’s wish list, but we’ve entertained hundreds of children at our events over the past two years!

We aim to make our music events unstuffy. No sitting in formal rows, coughing quietly in between each piece of music and clapping politely at the end of the concert! Our seating is totally informal; simply bring your picnic blankets, tables, chairs, candelabras, fairy lights and picnics and get set up in your chosen spot.

There’s always lots to do even whilst the music is going on, from free children’s activities to loads of space to run about in, playing with friends, or enjoying delicious food and drink from our traders.

You can clap, sing along, dance and join in at any time you like! The parkland will be awash with union flags, and a big friendly crowd singing along to their favourite tunes from the musicals and the Last Night of the Proms favourites!

Proms & Prosecco in the Park features free circus skills workshops from Circus Mash, one of the country’s leading circus skills trainers. We also have free craft workshops as well as glitter face painting, glow sticks and glow wands for the evening, and much more! Oh, and did we mention that children under 10 go free?

Don’t just take our word for it though! Here’s what parents and children about our previous events:

“I thought the setting was beautiful, despite a bit of rain and it gave a really lovely atmosphere to the whole event. The kids loved being free range! My five year old described it as his ‘best day ever’ which just shows that there was something for everyone!” – Jessica

“Both of my Grandsons really enjoyed the day. The youngest loved the juggler and tried out all his tricks. He met up with loads of his friends and played hide and seek with them, before waving his flag during Land of Hope & Glory. The eldest met up with his friends and enjoyed all the music, whilst wondering amongst the crowd. They both loved the hot chocolate from the vintage drinks van!” – Linda

“It was the perfect day out for the whole family. I felt confident that the children were in a very safe space. My eldest (10) and his cousins ran around the field playing football and joining in with the circus skills. My daughter (8) and her cousin danced endlessly in front of the stage, staring at the lady in the sparkly dress!” – Kathryn
